About the artist.....

I am an artist based in Glasgow, Scotland and have been practising for eight years with a particular interest in colour and abstractionism.  I am starting an undergraduate degree in Fine Art Painting & Printmaking at The Glasgow School of Art in September 2025 which is hugely exciting and I can't wait to discover how this will shape and refine my practice.  

I currently paint still life, landscapes and interior scenes and my inspiration comes from maximalist interiors, bustling streets and beautiful textiles.  I am passionate about interior design and elements of the home feature heavily in my art.  I love to see how people live with colour, in their homes and on their person, as I can't imagine my world without it.  

It's always been interesting to me to people-watch, and also to see relationships developing in my own life. It's endlessly intriguing to see how our mind works and how we relate to each other in this ever-changing world. I am looking to develop my portraiture over the coming years to see how I can marry it to my present work.

My goal, following my degree, is to be a self-sustaining artist so I'm really going to have to push myself over the next few years to achieve my dream.
